Japan is hands-down one of my favorite countries to visit! The people are so welcoming, the convenience stores are stocked with THE BEST snacks, and the history is without a doubt fascinating. Of course, the food is incredible as well! Dishes can be as simple as a warming bowl of miso soup or as complexly flavored as tonkotsu ramen.
Whenever I miss Japan and all of the experiences it offers, I head straight to the kitchen—it's like traveling there, without actually doing so. This is a growing collection of some Japanese recipes that I love to make at home.
